The W60 series motors are available in three different configurations, namely, open self-cooled motors (IC01, WP-II), closed air-air cooled motors (IC611, TEAAC) or air-water cooled motors (IC81W, TEWAC).

The motor is designed to be robust and durable, the frame and end cover use high quality cast iron, and the rigid shaft (critical frequency is not lower than rated speed frequency) reduces vibration and noise levels.

Compatible with all kinds of VFD (frequency converter)
The W60 series motors can be easily used in conjunction with any medium voltage converter on the market. The motor is of standard design and can run at any speed within the rated speed range. If the motor is used in conjunction with the medium voltage converter produced by WEG Company, the motor performance is better.
